A Madrigal Feast is a form of renaissance dinner theater often held by schools and church groups during the Christmas season. It is set in the Medieval times and is generally comedic in nature. The meal is divided into courses, each of which is heralded with a traditional song. A play is performed between the courses and a concert of choral music concludes the festivities.
Each year From Page to Stage Productions joins together with Kentwood High School to put together a Madrigal Feast. Cheri Ayres-Graves writes and directs an original script that is performed during the 4 course Christmas dinner. The evening is is concluded with beautiful seasonal songs sung by the 75+ Kentwood choir all in a cappella . Make this a Christmas tradition!!
